This tea comes from a very low yield tea garden located in Fen Shui Ling, Jinggu area. The Qingxin oolong gardens were planted by a taiwanese tea maker and then reclaimed by a young local tea maker.
This is the second year Mr Zong has been making oriental beauty tea in his garden to complement his black tea production. This one is better than last year's, with a slightly lighter oxidation level and a bit more bug biting (although not a much as we could hope for, we're working on it!)
Here is a video that shows his factory, we talk a lot about oriental beauty processing.

Ordered it on a whim, but I'm now in love with this tea. I use a lot of leaf (8g) with a gaiwan and the first few steeps have a very thick taste, that I appreciate very much. Will get lighter after that, but still delicious!

Just exquisite. So satisfying each and every infusion asks for more.

This is an excellent tea. The aroma intoxicates. There’s sweetness, honey, apricot, or peach maybe, but it’s not cloying. You almost have to search it out. The sweet is balanced with a touch of malty bitterness. Great mouthfeel too. I look forward to working my way through it.

Enchanting aroma, incredible quality. Very complex but also easy to drink and enjoy. Nice to compare to the black, this one seems to have less oxidation and a light, buttery mouthfeel.
