Spring 2026 Lao Man E Single Trees

This is the first time Ai Xiang Nan is offering us a single trees picking, the best from his ancient tea gardens. 

While I thought the Lao Man E gushu cake was always the best tea in our collection, that was until we received this higher "grade", made only from the biggest sweet varietal trees growing around Lao Man E.

This tea has a moderate and quickly vanishing bitterness. It will give you a deep Huigan from the first brew. The fragrance is refined, carrying that typical animal leathery tone characteristic of the Bulang Shan area. This tea behaves well in the mouth, powerful but not aggressive, with low astringency and good activity on the gums. You can spend a whole afternoon sipping on this tea and reaching new planes of existence.
