Ga Long is a garden adjacent to Mai Sao Kan, growing on a mildly sloped hill. It has a lot of big tea trees,a soil rich in organic matter and a thick forest cover.
This tea is great if you like Cha Qi, you will find it similar to our past releases of Mai Sao Kan or Ai Ban.

This is easily the best tea I've ever tried from FarmerLeaf. My second favorite being the Autumn Naka. This maocha has an aftertaste that lingers for 15+ minutes. Because it's so fresh, the first couple brews can have a sort of green bean flavor. But after brew 3 this becomes something incredible.
I am heartbroken to be down to my last 50g.
Hoping for a 2026 release!!

Very clean and smooth. Not aggressive, showing its gu shu character. The Cha Qi is very good, calm, consistent and builds through the session. Steeped the first few by flash brewing in a gaiwan and then got some real depth once the leaves had opened up. Would recommend a 5 gram sitting as it can get astringent when pushed with a 7 gram or 10 gram session. An excellent tea. Endurance not as long as some older trees but still managed about 5-7 good steeps.
