Can't beat it for the price. Maybe not a super complex tea, but if you like mellow sheng that can stand up to Grandpa style? This is a great pick.
It has some cashew-nuttiness in there (to me at least) that's really interesting, and some nice subtle sweetness that lingers.
This tea is a workhorse: it may not be as fancy as some other options, but don't mistake "mellow" for "weak". I get a lot of brews out of it. I haven't tried many huangpian, but this is by far my favorite so far.

I got this tea as a sample and nearly threw it out since I'm generally not a big fan of young sheng. Most young sheng puerh is too strong for my stomach, too fast forward in taste and energy. I like mellow, smooth, sweet. This tea is surprisingly all that. It is still sheng with its young energy but it doesn't punch you in the face if you're sensitive like me. For those days when I feel like a sheng, this is it and a great value.

Completely amazed!
This sheng puer is that what, so far I like the most! Has the nice taste and aroma of Jingmai shengs, endurance of many steepings amazing taste and aftertaste. Has the thickness in the taste and cleanness. Without any sourness of Huangpians, no any bitterness or acidity!!! Even if I oversteep or especially make it “grandpa style” by simply put ~4g to 750ml 80-60 Celsius water in a thermos! Even after hours of steeping or even the next day the tea remains enjoyable!!! Unbelievable quality of the old tea tree Leaves and thankfully the professional and careful processing from William and Yubai ✨✨
I already ordered the second cake, and sure that I’ll order more from it!!!
